US v UK The Mortal Instruments Trilogy Covers

I thought it would be a fun idea to do for the TMI trilogy. This post is sponsered by Jenny at Wondrous Reads, she is a Brit like me and has a fabulous YA blog, you should check it out.  I have copies of the UK paperbacks for COB and COA, but they decided to change the cover for COG before it was published, so the picture shown is what it was going to be.  They changed it to be the same as the US cover and soon all three UK copies will bear the same cover as US ones. 

It does pain me to say this, being from the UK, but I much prefer the US covers.  Maybe this is just because it has fake Jace on one of the covers with no top on.  I love the fact that you can see NY and snippets of Idris on the covers.  The UK ones are cool too, I just find it hard to figure out who's supposed to be on the covers.  What do you all think??
